Meadowbanks is a residential care home situated on Hall Lane in Upminster, Essex.  The care home features 40 furnished ensuite bedrooms.  These amenities along with the home being purpose built, provides residents with a comfortable and welcoming environment in which to live.

At Meadowbanks, the health and wellbeing of our residents is our priority.  Our caring and professional team offers care to meet a variety of needs, including residential care, dementia care, respite care or short stay care breaks.

We aim to promote quality of life and assist independence through a professional service.  We continue to strive for excellence in person centred service and care, through innovation, kindness, and commitment.

Our team take part in all mandatory training, initiatives and projects which enhance and innovate our delivery of care.  Residents are treated with utmost dignity, respect, and compassion, and will be encouraged to maintain their independence, connect and form new friendships and participate in the stimulating daily activities on offer.

We have an excellent professional relationship with local healthcare providers, including GP surgery, hospital discharge teams to ensure the seamless admission into the home.

We provide and encourage social interaction with a range of stimulating activities, considering resident’s interests, feedback, and their varying needs. This benefits every resident, including those living with dementia and physical frailty.

Some examples of activities taking place at Meadowbanks include, holding regular music and singing sessions, games, quizzes, tea parties, special events and celebrations, regular talks on various topics etc., these activities have a profound impact on improving social engagement and boosting creativity and imagination.
We also make a point of celebrating all birthdays and special occasions.

Our beautiful garden areas provide ample outdoor living space for residents, where they can enjoy the advantages of nature and fresh air. We also have a retro tearoom where residents can enjoy refreshments and a beautiful garden room where residents can meet privately with their loved ones, all of which positively impacts on residents’ wellbeing.

We provide a hairdressing service twice weekly in our purpose-built salon, and should you require hairdressing for a special occasion this can also be provided.

Our local GP holds a surgery every Thursday for health issues and will carry out home visits as required.

The quality of our catering is of restaurant standard, our menus are specifically designed to offer variety and balanced nutrition to our residents.
