Visiting Meadowbanks
1. Safeguarding
We are delighted to welcome family and friends back to Meadowbanks as we learn to live with COVID-19, whilst keeping your loved ones as safe as possible from infection.
We appreciate your continued support with the following measures:
- Please do not visit the care home if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have symptoms or are self-isolating or unwell in any way. Please do not visit for at least 7 days after you feel completely better.
- Please do not visit if you have flu type symptoms or if you have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours.
- If there is a high infection rate within the local community, you will be requested to carry out a lateral flow test and complete a health questionnaire.
- Please sign the visitors book on arrival.
- Please wash your hands and use antibacterial hand gel on arrival at the home.
- You may visit your loved one in the communal areas of the home.
- Face masks to be worn.
- In the event of an outbreak within the home, each resident may continue to have one visitor.
We continue to keep our guidance under review, or when we are made aware of an increase of infection in the local community. We reserve the right to change, cancel or suspend visiting at short notice if required. We ask that our control measures are respected to safeguard your loved ones, other families, and our staff.
